During Editing
Through the editing we began looking into mirroring transitions of certain shots we had filmed, I.e the Disco ball were we transitioned it to create abstract and colourful effects. which we then used to chop and change and little elements of this through the video. We also used this effect on the glowstick scenes and the merry go round shots theses created interesting effects which are now in the video.

Film Shoot Club Scene (add pics)
For our Club scene we decided to create our own set using a drama room in our school, and some props and equipment i.e Smoke machine, lighting, disco ball and glow sticks to help create the illusion our actor was at a night club. i feel with out theses props and equipment this would not have worked. i feel our end result was a success.

Review of 1st Time Lapse Location Shoot
we made our way to the shoot from a trip to the BFI, for a another subject and decided to shoot whilst we were in London. we started filming near the eye to begin with to get the sun going down in the distance behind and having big ben and houses of parliment inside the circle of the london eye, this shot was filmed on jay jay's camera for two hours continuously, we really enjoyed it till about an hour when we all wanted to move because of the freezing weather And i had spotted a mary go round on the southbank and wanted to film this. Jay's camera run out of battery after two hours, therefore we completed, packed away and moved on to our next part, whilst waiting for the film then noticed over the wall a merry go round, we then decided to go round and film there for a while too, Jay offered to go on the ride. whilst i shot it. We then moved onto Westminster bridge for our next location, this went very well especially with the people walking in the shot, it shows London's popularity and busy streets reflect what we want to achieved, a well established, desired destination. Following the bridge we went and had a break with hot drinks. Then came back to film Big Ben, a shot which i had seen when researching and i had spoke to the boys about it we was really happy to find it. we had one more tape with an hours footage left, therefore we filmed Big Ben for an hour and completed the night with a beautifully lit shot of the eye and the museum. Which became my favourite shot of the night, I really enjoyed myself and so did the group, seeing our footage we are really pleased.
Things we could of done better....
Took another camera for more footage to film.
Another battery pack to have more time for the footage.
make sure we have hats, gloves and something to keep us warm.
Food and supplies to keep us going and feel better.
Here are some photos...

Time Lapse Requirements
Best way to get this effect, Is to use a stills camera SLR ,Tripod and a ND filter for the blur effect. And to manually edit the interval time for each shot for example 1 frame every 10 seconds.
The second and cheaper way is to have a Tripod and DV video camera. and speed it up to whatever time you want.

Time Lapse Experiment
I did a trial of a 60 minute time lapse of the main road outside my house, I compressed it into a 60 second time lapse. as this is a key idea that has been spoken about, to use in our music video.

single colour effect (sin city)
I filmed a clip of me throwing a orange, and took out all of the background colours making them black and white leaving the colour of the orange flowing through the clip. I feel and effect like this could be a possible idea for our music video.
