FIRST 6 PANEL LAYOUT OF MY DIGI PAK

I have created the style and effect that i want my Digi Pak to look like, using a random shot of a dj i have created my Digi Pak around him as an idea of how my original may look when i have took the photos and put him in my design.

FRONT COVER & BACK

First idea of a front cover with my random character. i really like this idea and feel i will not change much of it only the character and amend my design to suit my new character.

The back design of my cover i am not to sure on i dont really like what i have done it seems effortless and thoughtless and will change this. i will add a copy right piece add more songs and add the dvd part.

step by step on how i made my front cover

Digi Pak- Plan

In Lesson we had to begin designing our Dig Pak for our artist and had to show the codes and conventions of a digi pak e.g title , bar code. As this is a individual part of the course work i began creating the look and what the album was called from my own point of view and how i would like to show Dj Magma through his album. ( not the music video song)

1st Filming Schedule log

elow is our schedule showing when we are shooting for our video...

Route Plan for London Locations (screen shot from iphone)

As we in four four different locations, my Iphone had tracked where i had taken the photos for future reference or if we need to re shoot anything.

Satellite Map of London location

These two picture are satellite pictures from google earth, this show the location where we went to film, the first picture shows the location of where we filmed yesterday, the other one has been annotated showing where we walked, starting at the 1st location then continued to loactions 2,3,4 and 5. We finished at location 5.

First Four Time Lapse Locations and stills

Today was our first filming shoot, We went out with a plan and we followed it. and succeeded, but the process was very tiring because it was freezing and we were standing for at least four and a half hours in many places the most being two and a bit hours, but when uploading the footage it was well worth it. To once again say our objective, it was to create a glamourous look and colourful.

on a field along side the london eye: this was a great shooting place, for the view and the fact it was out of the way of the public.

The Mary Go Round which I had spotted near the London eye on the southbank.

Westminster Bridge were there as plenty of people and traffic to make the effect work, with Big Ben set in the background.

The tight shot of Big Ben clock face and the London Underground sight i felt was a nice shot to create.

Shot of the night the second shot of the London Eye from the original planned location spot was a amazing timelapse with the colours changing on the museum and the eye spinning round was just Amazing!

Journal- London Time Lapse Shoot

Here are some pictures of us on location filming, when filming and shows that we are all having fun however long it took (about 4 hours)

Review of 1st Time Lapse Location Shoot

we made our way to the shoot from a trip to the BFI, for a another subject and decided to shoot whilst we were in London. we started filming near the eye to begin with to get the sun going down in the distance behind and having big ben and houses of parliment inside the circle of the london eye, this shot was filmed on jay jay's camera for two hours continuously, we really enjoyed it till about an hour when we all wanted to move because of the freezing weather And i had spotted a mary go round on the southbank and wanted to film this. Jay's camera run out of battery after two hours, therefore we completed, packed away and moved on to our next part, whilst waiting for the film then noticed over the wall a merry go round, we then decided to go round and film there for a while too, Jay offered to go on the ride. whilst i shot it. We then moved onto Westminster bridge for our next location, this went very well especially with the people walking in the shot, it shows London's popularity and busy streets reflect what we want to achieved, a well established, desired destination. Following the bridge we went and had a break with hot drinks. Then came back to film Big Ben, a shot which i had seen when researching and i had spoke to the boys about it we was really happy to find it. we had one more tape with an hours footage left, therefore we filmed Big Ben for an hour and completed the night with a beautifully lit shot of the eye and the museum. Which became my favourite shot of the night, I really enjoyed myself and so did the group, seeing our footage we are really pleased.

Things we could of done better....
Took another camera for more footage to film.
Another battery pack to have more time for the footage.
make sure we have hats, gloves and something to keep us warm.
Food and supplies to keep us going and feel better.
Here are some photos...

possible location for night club scene

I took three angles of the drama room in our school, as it is our main idea for our night club scene. And just to show what the room looks like and just what we have to do to make it look like a night club we will use the lighting to help create our effect as well as a added disco lighting equipment and the use of glow sticks.
